Use This Countdown for a Flexible Session

Choose an estimated work window in Preferences and start the countdown when you begin. If you stop early, note the elapsed work time before resetting. Keep the next task step visible so you can resume after the break.

The initial focus duration is 25 minutes. This is a countdown, not a count-up timer, and it does not automatically calculate or set a proportional break.

Choose Your Own Break Rule

If you want proportional breaks, decide on a rule in advance. For example, one minute of break per five minutes worked would give a six-minute break after 30 minutes. This is an arithmetic example, not a prescribed recovery formula.

Enter your chosen break length manually. If you prefer preset work and break periods, use 25/5 or 50/10 instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this an automatic Flowmodoro stopwatch?
No. It is a configurable countdown. You record elapsed work and calculate any proportional break yourself.
How do I choose a proportional break?
Pick a rule that fits your plans and calculate the break from the time you actually worked. No single ratio is established here as best.
Can I use a fixed schedule instead?
Yes. Open a preset such as 25/5 or 50/10 to configure work and break durations, then review your rounds and auto-start preferences.
