Local tasks and focus history
Your tasks, timer preferences and focus history are stored in your browser or desktop app. Using the timer does not require an account or cloud sync.
Usage analytics are enabled by default
When analytics are configured, Pomodoro.in sends usage events to PostHog to understand which features work well. These include page visits, timer actions, feature interactions and diagnostic events. A generated device identifier and session attribution connect events; they are not your name or an account login.
Attribution includes the landing page, referring hostname and selected campaign parameters. Product events do not deliberately include task text. The analytics SDK may also collect browser/device information and interaction or recording data according to the deployed PostHog project configuration.
Control collection in Settings
Open Preferences / Settings and turn off Usage analytics. This stops SDK capture and product-event delivery, cancels pending product requests and removes unsent product events. A request already received by a service cannot be recalled.
The choice persists on your device when storage is available and applies to other open windows. If storage is unavailable, the choice lasts for the current session. Re-enabling collection starts new activity; events from the disabled period are not replayed.
Hosting and feedback
Cloudflare delivers this website and may process requests for security and operations. External feedback links open Featurebase under that service's own policies. The usage toggle controls Pomodoro.in's PostHog SDK and product-event queue; it cannot disable infrastructure request logs or tracking on other websites.
Offline use
After the app has loaded, its timer and local records can work without a connection. Opening or reloading the website, loading uncached images or audio, and sending analytics can require a network connection.
