Start a Five-Minute Pause
This page sets the main countdown to five minutes. Choose Start Focus to run it; the control keeps that label even when you use the countdown for rest. Short Break is also set to five minutes and Long Break to 15 minutes.
Before leaving the desk, check the completion sound and volume. You can pause or reset the countdown, or change its length in Preferences. This timer does not monitor whether you are resting or automatically lock your screen.
Decide How You Will Return to the Task
Choose a pause that fits your circumstances: refill your water, look away from the current task or simply sit without continuing it. You do not need to turn the break into another checklist.
Leave a brief restart note if the work is unfinished. Use a 15-minute countdown for a longer pause, or return to the 25/5 preset when you want a work-and-break cycle.
