Tasks, settings and focus history are stored on your device. Usage analytics are enabled by default and can be disabled in Settings. There is no automatic cloud sync; clearing browser storage can remove local records. Read the privacy details.
The loaded timer and local records can work without a connection. Reloading the website, visiting uncached pages or loading audio and images may require internet access. The website does not guarantee offline reloads.
Choose another tool if you need automatic cross-device sync or app blocking. Compare timer workflows and limitations.
Fit a Work Block Between Commitments
Check your next meeting or handoff before starting. Choose a task you can pause cleanly: review one proposal section, prepare an agenda or process a small group of messages. Select it as your session target.
Set the interval to fit the time available. The starting settings are 25 minutes for work, 5 minutes for short breaks and 15 minutes for a long break. The timer does not read your calendar or silence calls and notifications.
Keep Project Work and Admin Distinct
Use task names or categories to distinguish project work from administration, then review local session history alongside completed work. A recorded block shows time spent, not a guarantee that the task is finished.
For a longer uninterrupted project step, compare the deep work timer. For a pause between activities, use the break timer. Leave a restart note before stepping away.
