Coding Timer — Plan a Debugging or Development Block
Reserve a 50-minute block for one coding task, followed by a 10-minute break. Choose an observable next step such as reproducing a bug, reviewing a diff or testing a small change.
Pomodoro.in at a glance
Pomodoro.in is a free online Pomodoro timer with customizable work and break intervals, local tasks, focus history, wallpapers and focus audio. No account is required.

- Wallpapers and glass appearance controls
- Bundled lo-fi, ambient and zen audio
Tasks, settings and focus history are stored on your device. Usage analytics are enabled by default and can be disabled in Settings. There is no automatic cloud sync; clearing browser storage can remove local records. Read the privacy details.
The loaded timer and local records can work without a connection. Reloading the website, visiting uncached pages or loading audio and images may require internet access. The website does not guarantee offline reloads.
Choose another tool if you need automatic cross-device sync or app blocking. Compare timer workflows and limitations.
Give a Debugging Session a Clear Question
Before starting, write the behavior you expect, the behavior you see and the smallest example that reproduces the problem. Open the relevant logs, code and tests, then select the task and choose Start Focus.
Use the block to investigate one hypothesis or implement one small change. Fifty minutes is the page preset, not a measured requirement for loading programming context. Choose a shorter interval if it fits the task better.
Leave a Restart Note Before the Break
Record the current hypothesis, the last command or test result and the next step. For example: the parser handles empty input; next check whitespace-only input. This makes the unfinished work explicit when you return.
Use the 50/10 preset for the interval setup, or the programmer guide for more workflow examples. The timer does not inspect your editor, run tests or block unrelated sites.
